Evening entertainment with children

Jesolo’s summer means a wide range of options to choose from, when it comes to keeping the kids entertained in the evening. With the essential help of my 6-year-old daughter I tried to come up with a ranking of the 5 best places to take your children.

1. LUNA PARK

A true must for the summer in Jesolo! An amusement park with lots of attractions for all ages and types. Brucomela-rides, giant slides, roller coasters, canoes, bumper cars for kids and teens, magic trains, witch and mirror houses, trampolines, prize games, and many other rides. Don’t forget the stalls with sweets, pancakes and candy floss.

2 BOUNCY CASTLES

Children, you know, go crazy for inflatable castles…Well, guess what, there are three of them in Jesolo! The largest is the one in Piazza Trieste, with lots of bouncy games of all sizes, trampolines, games for the little ones, a ball pool, a toy car track, and a gazebo area dedicated to birthdays, with chairs, tables, and vending machines. If you are in the pinewood area, you can stop for a jump at the bouncy castle in Viale Oriente, or if you are on the opposite side, near the lighthouse, at the bouncy castle in Via dei Navigatori, the smallest of the three options.

3 GAMES HALLS

There is no shortage of game arcades in Jesolo; from the pinewood to the lighthouse there are many stops along the pedestrian area that are usually open in the evening or around the clock on cloudy days.

4 MINIGOLF

Another option that is always fun for youngsters and parents is the minigolf. There are 4 minigolf courses in Jesolo. The most unusual is undoubtedly the one next to Caribe Bay, pirate-themed, with hanging skeletons, treasure chests, islands in the middle of the water and white sand. Then there is the one in Piazzetta Casabianca, hidden among the palm trees, the one in Piazza Mazzini, visible from the access to the beach and, finally, the one in Via Altinate, near Piazza Milano.

5 SHOWS IN THE PIAZZAS

The Municipality of Jesolo, its public library, local consortia and other organisations are all very proactive in organising shows and other evening activities for children. Don’t forget to consult their programme to keep up to date on upcoming events.
