Sunday, 5th of September Venice will host one of the most anticipated events of the year
An eventful September awaits us with its many appointments along the lagoon. After the inauguration of the Venice Film Festival at the Biennale di Venezia on the 1st of the month and the 59th edition of the literature’s night for the Campiello prize on the 4th at the Arsenale di Venezia, the highlight of September will take place on the 5th: the historic Regatta, the main event amongst the yearly competitions of Voga alla Veneta,
a unique and thousand years old discipline that has been practiced and kept alive for generations on the lagoon of Venice.
On Sunday, from 4.00 p.m., one of the most fascinating performance will take place along the Canal Grande, between the Bacino di San Marco and the trainway: the Historic Parade. After that all the other competitions will follow.
