Barch-In Cinema, the Venetian version of a drive-in

After last year’s success, the drive-in cinema on boat will take place again at the Arsenale in Venice until the 31st of July, to celebrate the city and its 1600th anniversary

In the evocative lagoon of the Arsenale di Venezia, the ancient shipyard of the Serenissima, Barch-In Cinema will offer a new location to enjoy cinema, art and shows all together. Thanks to the support of the municipality of Venice, of the Vela company and of the Navy, the spectators will be able to dock their boats to assist to the projection of films and documentaries. The programme of the shows will focus on Venice as the main character and has been designed to celebrate the 1600 years of the city’s foundation.

The event is free, donations are well-received and will be assigned to the improvement of the initiative. As per Covid-19 restriction, the reservation and the registration to the event is mandatory for all and it is possible from the event’s website www.cinemabarchin.com or from the app CocaiExpress.
