Seafront of the Stars

A seafront promenade like the Hollywood Walk of Fame: since 2001 Jesolo has recognised leading figures in the world of show business, TV, music, science and sport on its promenade. The Lungomare delle Stelle (Seafront of the Stars) as it is known, has become like Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.

During a public ceremony a part of the walkway is named, and a print taken of the person’s hands, which are then kept in an exhibition space at the Kursaal in piazza Brescia. The first was Alberto Sordi then later came stars of the calibre of Mike Bongiorno, Sofia Loren, Katia Ricciarelli, Andrea Bocelli, Gina Lollobrigida and Carla Fracci, Alessandro Del Piero, Pooh… until the more recent, Federica Pellegrini and Bebe Vio.
