Tourism’s representative to meet in Jesolo

The upcoming G20s will be held in Jesolo for its fourth edition. The assembly of Italy’s leading seaside towns has been gathering since 2018, together with the Enit (National Agency for Tourism), to study common strategies and promotion guidelines. After last September’s edition in Vieste (Foggia), the next assembly will be in our town from the 31^st of August to the 2^nd of September. Ministers, members of the Italian and European Parliament, the mayors of Italy’s major seaside towns and the representative of the promotion consortiums are all expected for the big event.

Jesolo has been entrusted as the meeting’s location, a big goal for the municipal administration, which has been working alongside other neighbouring towns since September to find a common ground for the location’s candidacy. Our beloved town will be able to represent and voice the petitions of the whole Italian seaside tourism’s sector and to promote the motion to obtain the “seaside town status”, which will guarantee more economic resources.
